Meet Dr. Josephine Korlei Mensah

Dr. Mensah spent her childhood in the Hudson Valley and earned both her bachelor's and dental degrees from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Her dedication to providing comprehensive care led her to back to New York to complete a general practice residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan. Here, she discovered her passion for working with children. She then pursued her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, serving as chief resident. During her pediatric residency, she also treated patients with special health care needs at the renowned Rose F. Kennedy Center.

Dr. Mensah's Journey in Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Mensah has worked in private practice in the Hudson Valley for over a decade, and education has become the cornerstone of her professional life. Currently serving as adjunct faculty at the St. Barnabas Hospital Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program, she appreciates the opportunity to inspire and educate future pediatric dentists. 


Dr. Mensah is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Her commitment to staying at the forefront of her field ensures that her young patients receive the highest standard of care.
